Obtaining your provisional licence:

From the post office:
Collect an application form for a driving licence (form D1). You will also need a colour passport size photograph. It must be taken against a light background and signed on the back by an appropriate person, someone who has known you for at least two years e.g. a Doctor, bank manager, teacher, (not a relative). You will also need some identification such as a Birth Certificate, or Passport (photocopies not acceptable)
